This is a concept for Dragon Cave, suggested by Zaestus.

When hunting, the wyrm twists itself into constantly moving knots, which confuses and mesmerizes its prey for an easy kill. The iridescent scales contribute to this effect.

This sprite has had some edits made based on extremely useful concrit. Thanks Jerusha!

I remember Zaestus mentioning this in chat (the Epic Project chat) and I loved it right away. And that was back before the female was under discussion. Fabulous spriting. I keep hoping this will come out in a near future release.

Thanks! I hope to see them released someday too. I love unique critters and we don't have any wyrm types yet.

You're right, we *don't* have any wyrm types and its a shame. There are lots of dragon type animals in mythology and the wyrm is a fairly significant one. Maybe it isn't the classic dragon but it is a "greater serpent".

Now -that- is spriting :3

I think you should keep the colors as is. It is like a cock's feather, dark and bland turning amazing the second the light hits it just right.

Well Zaestus is happy with the colors, so this is the final version unless any problems are noted.
